Peace Be Still (Jordan River Temple)

While visiting the location of a temple, I’ll often visit the grounds and then circle out at a distance looking for compelling vantage points, checking the times for sunset and sunrise and anticipate where the light will be to capture what I need to develop a painting.  This vantage point I found by the local high school with the wide open fields a key attribute for a great view with few obstructions.  It's a stunning view across the valley with the majestic mountains rising up in the distance … passing clouds playing patterns of light and shadow across the templescape.
